After the procedure

Instructions for outpatient care

Cool the treated area for 15 to 20 minutes at a time, then pause for 10 to 15 minutes and start the cooling process again.

This is recommended for two days after the procedure. We do not recommend the use of scarfs, even in wintertime, because it will not help, but most likely do harm. Cold weather will not exacerbate your condition. The swelling is most acute the second or third day after the procedure and more pronounced in the morning than afternoon.
